keyless entry, alarm

Strange thing is happening on my 90 GW. Suppose to have a keyless entry but I bought it a year ago and it came with no remote. Besides Ireally didn't think it still worked. Went out to crank it today and the battery was dead. Put a charge on the battery and the little red light on the dash flashes and when you open the door, the dash lights and outside flashers start blinking and a beeping inside like it is a normal car alarm sans the horn. Can't make it quit. I disconnected the battery hoping that would reset it but no luck. Can anyone tell me how to disconnect this feature or where to get a keyless entry for the key chain?
