Jeep trucks with toppers / Sports Cabs

Ok I recently got a 1978 Jeep J20 with the factory 401 and Levis package but it does not have a bed cover and I would love to see photos of those of you that have them. Here is one I found on the internet and love.

That's a beautiful truck you found the pic of, if you find more pics, you'll see it's not really a truck. or a wagoneer. It's some crzy combination, but it's awesome.

I could not find a cap for my j10. I had to make one. http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f57/h...heavy-1466846/

I don't have any pictures, but I believe that 90's dodge dakota toppers fit the Jtrucks prety well.

Does anyone happen to know the bed measurements for the long beds?

I just measured it and it is an 8 foot long bed and just under 5 feet wide. Now I need to see what other trucks have similar sized beds. I did not think the Dakota had an 8 foot bed but I will check.

Call your local Leer dealer and see if they make them. If not have them measure it for you.

I run a first-gen Dakota tonneau cover on my J20. Fits really good.

I hope you didn't post that for my benefit.

The side rails bow in ever so slightly. If you look down the bedside the cover lines up with the top of the bed really well, you don't notice the slight hourglass shape of the rails.

My local truck topper/shell retailer offered to take measurements and make a shell for my J20. Should be in line with the prices for other pickups.
