J4000 Dually has anybody seen one lately?

I am looking for a J4000 dually to restore. I plan on using it to haul an airstream trailer for living. I have only seen one in my life, that was in a picture. Does anybody have any idea on how many were manufactured? If anybody has any information I would appericate it.

I've checked out Ebay with no success. I either missed it or I can't find it. I usually check it once a week. I have also just posted an ad on the IFSJA page too.

Thanks for the help.

Please feel free to keep any more sightings posted.

You can replace the original rear axle with one from say a Ford van with duals (and find the front wheel adapters to run the offset wheels) We did that with my son's '83 Cherokee (then it was stolen from storage after we sold our house)

It was a rare option after '74. The early camper specials had them. I'm trying to find the FSJ dually truck list. A friend of mine is on the list but the link is down.

Most M725s were single rear wheel.
