Looks good BeachDriver.
I noticed your rear lenses are perfect. Hard to find them in that condition here in the southwest. Lots of cracked ones out here. Wouldn't happen to have an extra set around?

Thanks and wish I did but I don't. I'll be following this thread closely hoping to learn of a few places for replacement parts for these old pickups.

A good condition orginal taligate I would like to find locally....when I first bought the truck I took it over to my body shop owner friend and he said he could fix the crack in it and repaint it the same color for me....but I noticed just yesterday the crack is spreading quite a bit....

I could just remove the tailgate and use the net that is already there in the bed but I would much prefer to find a good used original tailgate and have my friend paint it for me...the original tailgates where it says J E E P across....

Anyone know what year J Series tailgates will work? Are all J Series tailgates the same so I could use a different year with mine being a 78?

Tailgates from '72 and newer would work, possibly even earlier than that.
Check out IFSJA.org for parts.

I believe, but am not certain, that in order to upload directly from you computer you will need to upgrade your account to JeepForum Supporter.

I tried to find something for you and all I found quickly was this

http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f59/r...quests-818020/

I upgraded my account and am able to upload directly from my computer but when I take pictures to upload here I set my camera resolution at 640x480....if I go larger than that it blows out the margins.....but I'm 60 years old and not very hip with computers or uploading photos so maybe I am doing something wrong but I just use 640x480 for this site.

Hopefully someone here who really knows will reply with some much better info than what I can offer.

One other thing I just thought of and that is awhile ago someone posted in one of the forums here a photo resizer that was free and it works great...you can make your current computer photos smaller with the click of a mouse...I will post the link to it if I can find it....I'll go look now.

I see you upgraded your membership here so when you go to make a reply look for the "Go Advance" button and then once you hit that look below posting area where it says to "upload images" and hit that and a box should then open up where you can upload the images directly from your computer.

EDIT: I must have been making the above reply same time you were making a reply and posting pics....awesome pics!!

Thanks guys! Alot of TLC and she'll be even nicer. I'd say between 1-2 years It will be done. Depending on how fast I pick up on how things work on this truck and $$ of course.

And I gotta have the AZ flag, it was built in AZ! Haha. Hey Azatrox your next for pics my friend. I'm curious to see my local competition!
