help Emergency drive will not disengage

So I when 4xing yesterday and at the end of the day when I went to go back to two wheel drive it will not disengage. So I just unlocked the hubs and drove home. Please help with any ideas on how to get this back in two wheel drive. I have the qudra trac part time system

I thought Quadra trac is full time not part as i read most places, and been told, and it says so in my dash, so it is always in 4wd, but there is normal, and emergency drive it could be stuck in e drive as mine had been.

They made a conversion kit for the Quadra trac to make it a part time 4 wheel drive system and that Is what I have. I know this because of the sticker in my glove box and the fact I have hubs I have to turn to lock to make it 4 wheel drive

I'd start by checking for vacuum leaks, at the engine connection first, then the rest of the hard lines as well as the rubber ones. The vacuum switch (it's actually a valve) connections need checked also.
If no leaks, I would use a vacuum pump at the engage motor apply side, at the TC to see if its working. Or run a Dedicated vac. line from manifold vac. to the TC. Remember one of the lines from the firewall to the TC is a vent line.

So are all three of the tubes coming from the switch in the glove box susposed to be conected to somthing cause on is not and it looks like it should be hooked up somwhere

from the switch two go down to the transfer case and one into the engine compartment to the vacuum canister for the vacuum pressure

The engine compartment shows the vacuum canister location(black canister middle of firewall)
The second shows the diaphragm on the t-case where the other two lines hook up circular item with red nipples, if the diaphragm is bad you cannot buy a replacement that i have found, mine is bad.

You need to. Not sure on J Trucks or Waggys but the vacuum supply on a CJ's comes from the intake manifold, just behind the carburetor.
