Headliner install

So I ordered the material from team . All is here. I have already removed the original headliner, console and visors.
Removed the fabric from the visors and console but not the boards yet. They are in good shape other than really faded. Should I remove the original headliner or just put the new on top of the old? Any special tricks on the visors? Looks like the original material was pinched between the two pieces of the visors. Any tips on that?

Remove the old fabric. If the foam backing hasn't broke down yet, it will & then the headliner will sag/fall.

Did most of it this weekend. Liner back in, Console back in, Finishing up the visors. What a huge PITA. Looks great though

Was this the kit from Team Grand Wagoneer? How did the install go? I just ordered my kit. Any words of wisdom?

What does this kit include? I can imagine just from the source of it that it's probably overpriced. You can get headliner material from fabric stores.

Mine was $80 with foam, adhesive and fabric for the visors.

Did you reinsulate the roof?
