flexplate issues

My local parts guy says the blanced or weighted flex plate is no longer available. Plan to call bjs on Monday. In the meantime what do you guys think. Is there a difference, im sure there is. Here some pics comparing the two. And what the problem is with the original.

Let me know what you find if you don't mind. I have my 401 up at the machine shop now for .030 bore and hone and installation of bulltear forged pistons, however I did not receive a flex plate with the engine. I have a 727 trans right now but if budget permits (final machine bill) I want to install a 4l80e while I have it all out.

Assuming again that this is for an AMC V8, yes there is a difference. Every displacement of AMC V8 has its own specific balance.

Not sure what that picture is supposed to be displaying. I only looked at the one that came up in the link.
