external fuel pump/regulator
Good morning all! A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to find a solid Grand wagoneer. Its been sitting for 1 year or so. I've gotten it start on pouring gas in the carb. I've try to run a fuel line from gas can to pump and pump to carb, no gas. So Ive decided that it must be mechanical fuel pump, Ive thought about using a blocker plate and installing a elec fuel pump. Can anyone guide me in the best route for this. Also, I'm guessing I will need a fuel regulator as well.
I thank you in advance for your help. Lee

That is easy enough to do, Is there a reason for wanting an electric fuel pump over the mechanical pump?
If you are set on doing that you can use the block off plate for a small block Chevy V8 on you AMC V8. And as you said you will need a fuel preasure reg. ![]() Dennis |
