This is coming home with me!

1984 J10 from North Carolina. Awesome shape. Not sure what happens next but this will be a good frame to start from!

You got it! I don't know your plans with it, but if it was me, I'd leave it as is and drive the hell out of it, looks very very nice!

Volt.....traded a motorcycle for it! Enough said!

Yeah, but it's super boring that way. 2" lift with 32's and stock wheels may look good???

Boy, normally I tell folks 'do what you want with it'. But if I found something that nice I wouldn't modify it too much. I do like the springs idea.

BTW, the oil breather hose is missing. You'll want to fashion something up so that it doesn't get that engine dirty.

X2

Your air filter set up isn't compatible with that oil cap. It would be cheaper for you to get an aftermarket breather cap then find a new air filter pan.

Some mild springs are not a bad idea. But as nice as it is, it will depreciate if you mod too much.

Looks real good. Little bit of lift, little larger tires on those stock rims and enjoy, well, you may be able to get hy with no lift and little bit larger tires. Actually, the white Jeep "rally" wheels would look nice to. Only available for a few years on the J-10, 70-72 I think.

I vote stick with retro. The hub caps on the OEM steelies with some nice meaty tires would look great, IMO.

Thats the way I went. Ditched my black steelies for white steelies with dog dishes.

Doc, I have always like the tucked in look for wheels and tires. Sweet ride! I'll have to check for final clearance first and then decide.
Thanks for the input. Pics tomorrow!
