Search the forum here, or FSJ network for a thread on instalation. Intake options are slim

Google is your friend

Just read some people's sigs. You'll quickly realize a 260H COMP cam, Edelbrock Performer, ignition upgrade of your flavor, and a Holley or Edelbrock carb are the most popular mods. For good reason, they wake it up when done together.

Wag Rebuilt 360, 260H, 727, Locked 44, AMC 20, 208, 31" M/T's, 4" Rustys, 2.5" Duals. SOON:SOA SF, 496, T400, Doubler, D60's, 37" M/T's <-TOY
Cherokee Rebuilt 360, 2" Duals, mostly stock. SOON: Hot Street 401, 4'' Rustys, 33" BFG A/T's maybe a T-case to get rid of Q-Track <-TOW RIG

Also- save yourself a headache and install a 1" carb spacer if you use the edelbrock performer intake.

Does it prevent vapor lock? I've used mine without one and haven't had any issues.

GP Pete, you just sparked a question for me.
Is it essential to use the 1 inch carb spacer?
Will there be a problem running without one, as revelc doesn't seem to have a problem. Will I get running issues or just reduced performance.
I'm just about to fit my carb, thanks.

I'm not running a spacer, no issues at all.

Thank's RockRollin, thats two votes to one, I'll save a few $$ there then. I used to have to have a spacer on a 61 T-bird many moons ago, which was essential to get it running right.
There is not that much room under the hood on these either.
