adding leaf springs to front of j-4000

im looking for a little bit of a lift in the front and i seen a set of trailor leaf springs at atwoods and wondered if i could bolt those in under my existing leaf springs and maybe add some curve to my existing spring. the current springs almost bend down ward they are so old.

You could probably find something that would work but you are re-arching an old spring (40 years old) and it will eventually bend or break where the ends of the add-a-leaf stop as this puts a lot of stress on old springs.

I kept a couple of the old front leaves from my '73 J4000. Adding them to your pack would at least bring it back to flat if not curved.
