83 Wagoneer dash removal

does anyone know a website to go to so i can get and figure out how to remove a dash on a 83 wagoneer? thanks

YOu might want to post this over at the CHerokee and Comanche forum since your 93 Wagoneer is an XJ, not an SJ (the FSJ wagoneers were built from 1963-1983 -- the 1984-up Wagoneers were XJ's).

Are you removing the gauges or the whole dashboard? (i have done both...)

To replace the heater core, you don't have to pull the dash. The heater core is on the engine side of the firewall and you just pull the heater box out, replace the core and you are good to go.

In case you want to know, to pull the dash there are 2 or 3 bolts on each side of the dash, then you need to pull the windshield (yeah, not kidding) to get to the remaining 8 or 10 bolts.
