88 Grand Wagoneer exaust leak

Hi,
Just bought and 88 Grand Wagoneer 360 V8. I am having trouble figuring out my exhaust leak on the driver side. Replaced the individual gasket's but still leaking. Manifold does not appear to be cracked. Air tubes are no longer in place and holes welded up and not leaking from there. The leak seems to be from the front under side inbetween cylinder 1 and 3. Is this a common problem on these? Thanks

the cast manifolds are junk they are prone to cracking and warping, its probably the mating surface isnt flat due to being warped, one fix is take it off and have it milled flat, or find a JY replacement, possibly without the AIR fittings.
