71 jeep pickup with 360 V8????

Hi guys,
My YJ is sitting in my driveway with no motor, since I am waiting for my new 4.0 EFI to come in. A guy stopped by and offered me a complete chassis off of a "71 Jeep pickup" he said it has a 360 V8, a Turbo 400 trans, and a "two-stick" transfer case, the chassis also has the axles, he didn't say what they were. He says the motor ran good, and it is all just sitting behind his garage, he said 500 takes it all.
My question is, is this worth it? any idea what the axles are?

thats a j10. good running gear if you dont mind only 8 to 10mpg. but you will also get 3/4 ton running gear. or fix the truck up. it looks just like a waggy.

besides maybe im a litle biased. thats what im doing for my commando. 80 waggy running gear

The axles depend on whether it's a 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton. Either way the front is going to be a closed knuckle design, which is not desirable.
