Which engine/transmission? A '67 should have a T-14 (232) or T-15 (327) or TH400 (either) or T-98 (either) transmission. All but the T-98 can be fitted with a back-up light switch, and you should be able to modify the T-98 shift top to accept a switch. However, I believe the DOT did not require back-up lights until the 1969 model year. The '69 wiring diagram here http://oljeep.com/gw/elec/GW_wiring.html shows them, while the '65-68 diagram does not.

So probably not, if it's really the year you think it is. You could add some lights if you wanted to, either manually controlled, or by adding a switch to your transmission.

I know its a t98. And I was just wondering for inspection purposes. If I don't need them I'm not gonna bother wiring them up right away.
