1983 Wagoneer Questions

Can the 1983 Wagoneer Automatic Trans. be converted to a manual trans? Why?...I don't like automatic transmissions

Also, I have an opportunity to buy this jeep for $900.00, is it worth it? Are parts available out there for this monster? It may need a new bottom end since I think it threw a crank bearing and blown head gasket. Are there enough mods and options out there to make this purchase worth it...

I pulled a bad T5 from my '83 J10. They blow up when run even slightly low on oil!
