1983 j10

I came across this right down the road from me. The owner is asking $2000 or best offer. Radiator is brand new as well as battery. Recently tuned and runs, original motor with 97k. Needs some minor exhaust and engine work. Has the original chrome trim and grill and other trim parts. 4WD works. Frame looks solid, no rot that I could find. Bed looks solid as well.

I have always wanted a Jeep pickup. I'd probably end up giving it a small lift, slightly larger tires and re-fab the fenders to be more angular and pronounced.

I really shouldn't be thinking about it right now given I've got 2 girls in college and things are tight but it looks like just the kind of project I'd like to eventually take on and I'd hate to miss out on the opportunity.

Any thoughts?

Offer 12-1500 Cash. He will probably take it. It would be a great project and if you get it, I have a headliner for sale if you want it. They are great trucks.

I dont know if HALF is the max its worth because you have to take rationality into consideration when looking a these things, but I personally wouldn't pay $2000 for it.

Repairing the rust along the bed/fenders is a pretty decent undertaking.

Those are grand wagoneer seats.

If you're looking for a project looks like you found one that could be fun! Let us know if you pick it up.

Emotion is strong at times when buying and makes it hard to keep a poker face!

Buy it, give the rear bumper a coat of varnish and it is done!!!!

Looks like a good project, lots of bodywok and paint but nothing unmanageable.
