My Rig is only a 2wd, Looking at the revs I'm thinking maybe going with a T5 for the OD.

I thought i read some place the AX-$ was 84-86 or was it 82-86 either way the cut off was listed as 1986 i have a 1988. . .

AX-4 was used from 84-92 and the AX-5 was used from 84-02.

Make sure the version of the T-5 you get can handle the power.

Yes i believe there is 2 versions of the T5 trans, I figured it i wasn't to rough on it the truck n trans should hold up fine.

I'm not trying to tow 9K-lb trailer's or win a bunch of drag races . . .

Just trying to have a neat little cruise around truck thats just a bit different then the norm . . .

Your correct on that jeep was Chrysler owned in 1988 !

But how ever the emissions sticker and data plates all have the AMC logo and say "jeep corperation"

it was built using AMC parts not chryslers...

So until they have Chrysler emission stickers n data plates there AMCs ...

There are a dozen ways for water to leak into the cab and once it's in, it rots the floors from the inside out. In fact, all of the problem areas on our trucks rot from the inside out. Rockers, floors and above the rear flares.car ac compressor
