What to do about floorboard rot

Hey Everyone,

I've come to get a few questions answered; my nice, but rusty, '88 MJ is in need of some work. First of all the floorboards are essentially being held together by the carpet, which I can see through what used to be metal when I look up from below the truck. What is the best fix for these? I imagine its a problem that's been dealt with before.

I planned on searching the topic, but couldn't find a search bar... Am I just not seeing it?

Thanks!
