shut down

I have a 88 comanchee. It is shuting down after about 30min of idel time or drive time. I have changed cps, tps ,fuel pump, coil, ignition modul, checked ground cabel, and the yellow box under dash .Im thinking of changing out the distrbuter next. Well changed distrbuter no change still shuts down after 30 min . I have noticed it runs longer the colder it is (out side temp) Does anyone know were the automatic shutdown relay switch is located ????????? The haynes manual has it listed for my i6 4.0L .

Sounds like you're screwed. But I guess it COULD still be the distributor, but from the sounds of it, you either have a major computer issue somewhere down the line of the idle air motor, or just the computer itself.

Very odd indeed, but I guess it could be the idle air motor.
