A question about vacuum

Ok been a while om this here site but ive tried somthing liked the results but need some opinions so here it goes
I got a 86 comanche with a 2.5 and with most jeeps terrible blow by and pressure building up enough to jet oil out of the dip stick..pcv is brand new all lines are clear ccv ended up in a stupid lil filter and still happened..outta curiousity i moved the pcv to were th ccv sits and the ccv mesh filter to the pcv spot and connected the lines now engine runs really really smooth so ok pop the oil cap off and theres suction....ok shut it off...ponder a bit..start take it for a drive and holy moly its got some juice now sweet notice no oil leaks no funny smells any more and the extra power with the 2.5 aint to bad neither now question is it i leave if will it cause damage...
