No, it's a XJ rear bumper.
The PO told me it just took a little reworking of the mounting brackets to make it fit (and a little exacto knife action on the bumper end caps). He didn't go into a lot of detail, and I didn't really ask since it was already done... but it did get me to wondering if the XJ spare carrier like on my '86 could be adapted to the MJ.

Just found a very scary similarity...

Here's my truck a lil' while back:

Well, look at this one:

About the ONLY differences I can see is no lift, 4x4, and it's all clean! Still a neat similarity...

CJ,
Tell me about your roll bar/ Sport bar. is is factory or aftermarket. If aftermarket what truck was it intended for? I REALLY want to add a roll bar, mostly for looks.

I put some new pics in my orig post from when I bought my MJ.
I have been busy adding upgrades!!!!

The roll-bar was a present from my neighbor. He bought it from a guy who just had it laying out in his backyard. Supposedly, it came from a late-80's S-10, but I'm not too sure, nor do I know if it's aftermarket or factory from the truck it came from.
