Bumping it up in hope of some good pics once again...cj7xjmj needs to post up his recent wheeling pics here

I guess I'll put the Comanche Thunderchief in here so it'll be in a reviving thread.

I've seen talk on this board of converting XJ's into pickups... I think it was AEV that built this one:

But back on the real MJ thread, might as well post mine in here too. These pics were taken by the PO, but it still looks the same, except it has WA plates on it now, and the rear plate is mounted on the rear bumper using a bracket from a front bumper, and offset to hug close to the left bumperette. I plan on cutting a hole in the side of the bumperette for a license plate light soon. (My local LEOs are anal about license plate lights for some weird reason.)

(only 10 more days until my posts will finally show photos.)

Thanks!
After I saw those pics, I just had to have it. It was worth driving 250 miles and across a state border to get it. I'm glad the guy never put pics up in his Craigslist ad - and that I was able to get him to email me pics. The PO is a retired Jeep dealership mechanic and he'd put the work and right goods into it...

I keep debating with myself whether I should move the goodies off my XJ onto it, or just leave it alone. The Jeeper in me says, "Go for it!" The part of me that bought it for using as a pickup says "Leave it alone, a lift will just make it a PIA to load stuff in - and you'll be too temped to take it out and thrash it."

Those MJ's with the newer XJ front clips look awesome. My Cj-8 dream project has just been replaced I think. MJ + 97 XJ front clip + CRD =

Did anyone notice the back bumper on a4xnut truck? Hey a4xnut, is that an XJ front bumper mounted to the back of the MJ? I would like to know how the PO did that.-Rich
