here is mine...

I just got it TODAY!!!!
It is a 1898 4.0 auto 4wd with 60,000 ORIG miles...I got it from a little ol' lady whos hubby passed on just after purchasing it in 1989. She only used it to go to the feed store and the post office!!! Can you believe that!!!! She lived in the country at the end of a mile long dirt road. I must have rinced 30lbs of dried mud from under it!!!

That cap HAD to go!!!!

Here it is with new TARS and rims, NO pin striping and a wash!!!

I dont have serious plans for the MJ. Its going to be a DD for me. But I will do a small lift enough to get 30 or 31" tars under it!!

UPDATE:
Most of what I have done in not visable, its got a COMPLETELY rebuilt front end. Including all brakes, from the master cylinder lines to the rotors, all new. Right down to the factory CA bolts! (Over $60 bucks for all eight!) But I got the lift in and am really beginning to like the progress. It drives SOOO much better.

I decided to go a bit taller and add some more agressive rubber on factory 10 spoke Jeep rims:

Now I have a set of 4" rustys leafs to add in place of the AAL thats in there now. I'll adj the front up another 1.5" and the rear with different shackles to the rake I like. Pics to come....

Hey man....funny meeting you here!!!! hahaha

Do you got any pics od your MJ? I'd like to see it, I dont think you have had it too long, have you? I see you SOA lifted it!!! I was looking at mine last night and If I where to swap in a D44 and do a spring over at the same time it would be a easy lift for the rear!!! I could then just order some 4-5" springs and maybe a short spacer to level it out....get it all from R.E. throw on some longer shocks... then disco's and be into quite a lift for peanuts!!!

I dont really want to do alot on this one, so I guess I am kinda dreamin' I was at the RE site earlier and they have a 2" lift for a couple hundered bucks that allows the user to run 30" tars. Thats about right for me!!!
This will be a DD, so I'll only wheel it, to say I did..... at places like Lakeview and Gutter and that spot up in Union....cant remember what we call it. But its the spot Lazy Larry likes so much. You know basically rutted up unimproved dirt roads.

countryjeep, please remove some of the pictures from your post. You're making it impossible for some dialup users to look at the post. You shouldn't post 10 pictures at one time like that. Especially those really huge ones that you put on there that are way too big. Takes way too long to load on one page. Please don't post more than 2 or 3 pictures.

I deleted them...but now you needn't worry! I just deleted the post! It's a little pressing when you go to the GD section and you're not accepted, but when critisism or ignorance is presented in the tech forums, this is where I take a walk for a loooooong time.............

Dude I thought your pics were great, I wish you wouldn't delete them!

I think a few of them would have been better if resized a little smaller, especially the dust to glory one (awesome pic btw) but that's just because I had to scroll left to right in order to see the whole thing, and I've got a 22" monitor too

Due to the (hopefully soon) purchase of a new house, I will be keeping my Comanche for a while. A trip to Deaver Springs for a full rebuild and shackle lift will thusly be in the works. I am dying to take a picture of the thing with actual dirt under the wheels.

Keep the pictures coming.

Now that I can actually post pics on the site, I guess that I'd better put the picture of the Mj in the right spot. It's an '89 wih a 4.0/Auto with a Dana 44 rear axle and a 2"BB and 245/75X16 MTR's off my wife's Rubicon Unlimited. It's got a deleted tailgat and aluminum bed braces and a rear prerunner type bumper under construction.
