My new MJ

Well I wasn't happy with the YJ so I found a guy to trade.

He has the YJ and I now have a rust free 1988 Jeep Commanche.

It's a 4cyl 4speed manual 2wd.

I would like to convert it to 4wd do a front clip/interior upgrade and paint it. All in due time.

Here's a couple pics

The bench seat is wore out. Anyone know of where to get a replacement cushion?

Seats is just personal preference, but i do like buckets. Also I would definately find a proper gauge cluster, and lose the one you have with that goofy massive fuel gauge

So I can swap clusters? That's great. I need a tach.
Called the glass company today and they said 250.00 for new tinted back glass installed with a slider.

Anyone know if we can make our triangle door windows vent?

Also I love having a bench seat. Wanna keep one.

Yes, you can swap clusters. Direct swap. I did it on mine. You will have to get sending units for the temp and oil pressure gauges though. The ones on there are for idiot lights and won't make the gauges function.

Check my build thread over at CC in my sig.

You can make the triangle door windows vent if you can find them at a junk yard. They came that way stock on a few XJ's and MJ's. I have not seen any at any local JY's yet.

Go over to comancheclub.com. Everything you need to know about these trucks over there.
