Doubtful anyone would swap a 2.5 for a 2.4.
The 2.5 is an old pushrod engine. Would look similar to a 4.0 minus 2 cylinders. The 2.4 has overhead cam. It has a cover on the front that covers the cam pulleys. Double hump kind of cover. Easy to tell apart.

Looks decent for the money.

i tried to blow up my i4 but it wouldnt die.. so instead i did a full rebuild on it and while tearing it apart i found that it had three failed cam bearings. and the rod(wrist) bearings were almost non existent. cam was shot and valves had holes. and for unexplainable reasons it still ran, granted it sounded like a diesel. i even wolered in the mud with it not haveing an oil cap. abuse....it can handle plenty of it. power none to save its live.

2.5 four wheel drive.
