MJ Lift Setups!

Okay I noticed theres a XJ Lift set up thread so I said to myself why isnt there a MJ lift set up thread? So MJ owners lets see them!

Anybody can play.. Stock or Lifted just make sure you follow format.

Format:
Year:
Lift height (listed & actual):
Shocks: (brand or part # or what height lift they are made for)
Tire size (Listed & actual):
Wheel Size & backspacing:
Notes:
Notes=Add a short description as if trimming was needed how much. Please remember to include other details that may be important such as SYE's, bumpstop extensions & if it rubs, where.... but try to keep it as short as possible.

Post 2 (no more than 2) pics of your jeep, one on level ground and one flexed up (or at least from a different angle).

'87 (or was it '88?) shortbox with home brewed lift. SOA rear (still D35 with 3.73 gears and the level sensor has been bypassed) with 255/85/16 tires (ZJ rims with the equivalent of 33/10.50/16s)) Rear is from an XJ and the shocks are "Mickey moused" in place because the axle wasn't planned to be long term. I swapped in a 4.10 geared rear and LOST power and speed (Renix makes it's power at lower RPM and this was originally a 3.07 geared rig)
I ran 33/9.50/15s which seemed just perfect for it, but I couldn't afford to buy a set last year, so I put a set of 31/9.50/15 BFGs on ($800 vs $500 mounted and balanced)
Front is 6" TJ springs (netted about 5" of real lift) with curved lower arms (not WJ ones unfortunately, or the 33/10.50s wouldn't have hit the arms on tight corners. Not sure of the brand) extended brake hoses and Rough Country adjustable trac bar with tie rod ends.
That's all I remember of the lift other than extenders for the front shocks. I have spring plates for the rear to go with the Model 20 I was going to put in.

Truck is now for sale (I have too many other projects and it's nearly done, but too small for my hauling plans. I found an '86 I'm going to extend with a grafted on XJ 2 dr front from bumper to B pillar)
