That's the spirirt! When in doubt: CUT SOME METAL! My Heep keeps getting lighter because of this.

Might try using a dremel with the flex shaft to make things easier.

I am sorry that I couldn't understand the last post. Too many Dashes and expleitives The best thing to do when your Jeep/wife/dog, or anything for that matter pisses you off, is to walk away, and try to find another solution to the problem. Getting mad ay it.. oinly makes your blood pressure go up

Haha... Well... I'm not that pissed at it. just.. i mean damn, what are you supposed to do when that thing really does break? and your in the middle of no were, and or on the trail, and dont have the proper tools? i tell ya.. one exspense becomes another exspense and so on.

im going to cut the head off, or drill it out, one or the to, i really dont have a dremil, and i have a drill.. so yea. drill the head off the bolt, and then when the really is off the engine, hopefully whats left of the screw will just come right out.

any advice on doing so?

I advise buying the proper tools for the job and do it right to begin with. Since you are past that point, cutting the head off and drilling the bolts out is a lond and drawn out process that if done wrong can and will ruin your motor. Have you tried putting vice grips are similar positive locking pliers on it? have you also tried using the correct style socket? No one said owning a jeep was cheap. Working on them definately isnt for that matter. I have some tools that I only need for certian things, and yes they were expensive, but I couldn't perform certian repair operations w/o them. One prime example is a ball joint remover (4in 1 tool) Paid over 100 bucks for it.. only used it once , but I have it if I ever need it.
