MJ Air Grabber

While searching around for a hood scoop I came across a cheap Air Grabber scoop and wanted to know if I can mount it on my MJ hood... Anyone ever done it?

depending on which style air grabber youre looking at, yeah, anything can be done but if its the one where you cut a hole in the hood to attach it, its kind of a pain. plus you have to get rid of the stock intake and figure out a place for the air filter. which one were you looking at, link?

Not sure how to attach an image here... Anyway the original air grabber like the road runner had. Cut through the hood

If you mean like the 'cuda one that attaches to the engine and sticks through the hood? That would be the same as on any car. Measure where it will stick through and make sure it has enough clearance for when the air cleaner rocked with the motion of the engine. Road Runners used a variety of scoops but none were attached to just the the carb like the actual AirGrabber was. Personally unless you had an early MJ with a centered carb/TBI on a 2.8 I think it would look stupid offset like it would need to be for a 2.5 or 4.0.
