Just picked up a new toy too

I just brought home an MJ to join my XJ. It was up in Las Vegas. Took a bus up there this morning, then drove the MJ back to SoCal.

1992 Comanche
4.0 L H.O.
4WD
shortbed
automatic
cruise control
147K miles
and...a Dana 44

Got it from the original owner. And it's got a straight, rust-free body. Gonna keep it stock for a while. At least until I bash the XJ up.

Don't worry...the nerf bars and grille guard are coming off first thing tomorrow morning.

Yeah, not many like that in Michigan. I'm so jealous!
Jeep on!

Dang, all you would have needed was an ax-15 and that would be the best outfitted MJ I've seen!

I really want one... there's a good HO over in phoenix for 2500, and a mysterious MJ here that I'm sure will go on sale soon... it's been sitting in the same spot for a month now... It's a 4.0 5spd sporttruck, that's all I know... I'll check it out!!

get more pictures! How does the interior look?

When you went back, did you go through Baker?

That's the ONLY way back. LOL

Did you see me?

The interior was beat to hell. Today, I put on new seat covers, vacuumed it really well, and scrubbed the grime off the steering wheel and door panels. It's looking pretty good now.

Except for the headliner and visors. But I'll get those fixed soon enough.

****, IDK how you went, just guessing. How did it do up the grade to Baker? I went to Dumont Friday night towing a dirtbike behind my Cherokee with 33's and I wound up driving in the Semi-truck lane

Did great on the Baker grade. Just set the cruise control and no problem. I was also driving in the truck lane though. I was in no big hurry.

I have a question...

It seems that every MJ I've seen has different striping and lettering. Even two MJs with the Pioneer trim level will look different.

I've never seen a Pioneer with stripes and lettering like mine. The stripes are actually zig-zagged. But my friend says for sure that it is factory striping.

Well, I guess it wasn't really a question. More of an observation.
