WE're converting the sons Comanche to 4x4 and this will be on his shopping list.
He needs a bumper anyway.
Wonder if my core flux welder can weld that, its 220v.

Nothing like looking at your buddies and saying "I built that!"

I'm on the fence about purchasing one of these.
My questions:
1. Does the factory spare tire crank-down thingy still work with this?
2. With the receiver hitch option, will a spare tire get in the way of a typical ball hitch mount once installed on a Short Bed Comanche?
4. How much trailer tongue weight can it handle?

Teal Brute, Silver Bullet, Baja Bomber
You can do anything you dare to dream.

1. Does the factory spare tire crank-down thingy still work with this?
Its should, but we have had a few that after welding everything together that they needed to drill a hole to get access. This is mostly due to this being a DIY kit and slight variations that can happen with assembly.
2. With the receiver hitch option, will a spare tire get in the way of a typical ball hitch mount once installed on a Short Bed Comanche?
No, the hitch is built into the bumper so there is no additional brackets to get in the way.
4. How much trailer tongue weight can it handle?
Same as stock.

Thank you,
