How to repair door hinge play.

I would like to know, what to do for play in door hinges, because mopar does offer anything. I have idea to put bigger pin or bolt in hinge. We are middle of prep for paint, would like to fix before paint on it. Thanks Darrin

is it due to play in the pin? or rust rotting out the steel on the body that the hinge is attached to?

It is due from the pin in the hinge and was wondering if anyone ever found better pin from the stock one, I took stock replacement pins and still loose, I looked on dorman line product website and found a pin dia is close to mind and little oversized, when it comes in I try it see what happens.
