How to remover adhesive residue and labels?

Anyone know how to remove the adhesive residue from stickers, and also how to remove the factory stripes?

Thanks again.

For sticker residue:

Might try an eraser, I hear that #2 erasers might stain...

WD40 and a paper towel or vegitable oil are semi safe..

For decals:

I think heat is your best friend... try a heat gun.

Try the Mr.Clean Magic Eraser, they work wonders!

Do a Google for 'pinstripe remover'

I used one of these "eraser" like attachments to remove my Pionner Stripes on the MJ... worked well...

I race motocross, we change sponsors and stickers on our bikes like people change underwear. We use a heat gun to do this, it works perfectly as long as you're careful. If the sticker is on metal its easier, plastic gets tougher because too much heat and you melt it. You can warm any sticker up with a heat gun and it slides right off. Even a simple hair dryer will work, but a heat gun is better.

I just removed all the striping and Pioneer lettering on my MJ. Just used a razor blade to lift a corner and peeled them back slowly. Then used some acetone to get the adhesive residue off.
