Flat towing 89 Comanche with AT

Can you flat tow a 89 Comanche 4X4 with AT? If so any particular procedure for doing so? Any info would be appreciated..

If you do, put the TRANSFERCASE in neutral, that way both driveshafts will be disconnected from the transmission.

Personally, I unbolt the driveshaft from the rear axle and securely strap it up under the Jeep (you can't just pull it out or fluid can leak out the back of the t-case).

trans in park and tcase in neutral unless it's a NP207 (front/rear are locked together in neutral)
