feels like I'm hauling, and not in a good way

One day I'm driving along and all of a sudden my truck sounds like I'm flooring it(when I'm actually just tapping the gas) and it feels like I'm towing 5 more comanches behind me, as well as some noise coming from the closest part of the exhaust manifold as well as a sort of crunching sound from the tranny, as well as some type of oil dripping from the tranny between the bell housing and that plate in front of it ( might just be the rear main seal or tranny is finally going)

Sounds like the auto tranny is giving up the ghost. I assume auto.

I just checked your profile and it says BA10. So, scratch that.

If you are having major oil leaks, it is possible that the oil has coated your new clutch nicely and making it slip.
Guessing.

To test if it is slipping, going slow like 1st or second gear speed, put it in 4th and floor it.
If the engine revs but you don't gain speed, then your clutch is slipping.

If that is the problem, you will have to disassemble the drive train. Fix whatever is leaking and then clean all the oil off of the clutch and flywheel.

Then reassemble.
