engine idels high, and sometimes shuts off

hello new here. have a 1991 2.5 jeep comanchee 2wd 5 speed. turn truck on, engine idels higher, than it should. runs okay for 5 to 10 minutes in idles, then it sputters and shuts off sometimes, liek its being chocked or something. when you drive it and coming to a stop, push clutch in and it trys to die or stall on me, and its a clutch, had truck 2 weeks from a kid, its been alot of fun fixing leaks, and stuff already dave

I don't know much about diagnosing the Chrysler electronics.
Try the guys over at ComancheClub.com/forums I'm sure someone there would have an idea.
Jeep on!
