Dash light problem

Ok, so when i first got the truck all the dash lights worked, now my lights wont even attempt to work, all bulbs are new, im thinkin that its some relay(hidden of course lol) any help would be appreciated

likely burnt out the light switch itself, dash lights are controlled by it, through the dimmer.

i've replaced 2 on mine now i may be onto my 3rd, guess i should by a new one this time...lol

Lol, that actually makes a lot of sense, but the dimmer still works for my headlights

headlight switch is a multi function, park lights/head, and a dimmer/dash..

im not sure on the dome lights as mine are long gone, i know they have a rocker feature, just not sure if in one position they work with door pin and the other on the dimmer/rotate to click and the interior lights come on..

Ah, i see. Could you send me a link of the part that i need? Like is it the switch itself or is it a part within

theres a few brands out there..
this is the piece you'll replace.. in the one pic you'll see the push release to release the pull knob for the headlights..need that out so you can unscrew the switch from the dash panel..

i would check the fuse before i bought anything, I have a similar problem that i only recently discovered the answer to. On mine the dash lights come on when the feel like and turn off in the same manner, turns out it is a lose fuse port. I never discovered this because when i would check the fuse it would be good, it wasnt until i started to fiddle with it that i realized the clips the fuse is held in by are lose and are whats causing it to lose its connection.

moral of the story check your fuses.

Haha checkin the fuses first has become my motto with this truck lol, but i didnt think about a bad connection so ill do that

Hey folks just catching up on some old posts, but we went through the fuse block and just decide to drive without the lights, then decided to take another look at it an discovered that only half of that fuse holder was functional, the other half just fell out, so we replaced the fuse clip and she lights up nice and bright
