Comanche questions

I'm new to the forum so forgive me if I posted in the wrong section. I have a 89 comanche an my question is if the maintenance required light should illuminate when the key is switched on? I bought it with 110,000 and haven't seen it light up in switched mode. Just wondering because it could have easily had a bulb removed. Also anyone put a header on a 4.0 comanche? Any noticeable gains in any department? Fuel economy, power whatever. Thanks for any replies.

The maintenance required lightcame on after so many hours to remind you to replace th oxygen sensor. About 82,500 miles. Don' worry about it. Headers for your Renix are expensive and the gains are minmal.
