Everything up front will work for you (assuming they have the same engines).

Only if you start using parts of the wire harness, throttle body or transmission. Plus the radiator will have a lower section that is dedicated to cooling the auto trans, but just plug the holes and it'll work fine (assuming the radiator is in good shape).

The 92 and 93 engines are identical.

The basic chassis parts will be the same, or at least workable, engine parts like pulleys may not work for you. The easiest way to check is by going to http://www.autozone.com/ and looking at the part numbers for the parts you want between the two different models. If the pulley (for example) on one is a different part number than the pulley listed for the other one then its a good bet the parts are different. Just a 1/4" difference in the diameter of a pulley may not even be noticeable by eye, but can make a significant difference on actual design purpose.

87 to 90 4.0Ls interchange. '91 to '96ish interchange.

Essentially everything ahead of the B pillar (where the door catches) is the same for the same year XJ/MJ with the same engine.
