Check Engine light codes

Do Comanche's and Cherokee's not have the same feature that a ZJ has? Where you can turn the key 3 times (or 5, I forget) and have the computer blink the Check Engine light a certain amount of times to blink out a code? The ZJ's have that feature where you check a book, read the number of times the Check Engine light blinks, and see if you have any probs with the motor. Do the Cherokee's and Comanche's not have that feature or what?

Unfortunately the older Renix computers do not have that feature. They do have a comp hook up under the hood, but you need a special scanner to read it. Also it only tells you if something is out of range, not if it is bad.

yep, has to be '91 or newer, and the MJ's work the same as the XJ's.
