Comutater have a black coatig.
But It looks its in good shape, not worn.
brushes are allso ok, ~17mm left but i might get new.

Om going go check and refresh all in it as its pretty boring go take it in and out :-)

After cleaning everything, i put the starter back in, and it starts on the 1:st try!

Was a good learning journey, learned alot about the Renix system from all the measuriong and reading

Glad to hear it. I've found most 4.0 starters fail due to being soaked in oil from leaky oil filter adapter seals.

If you own a Renix Jeep, you'll want to check this out.
