If its an auto the only one to be put behind the 4.0 was the AW4, which is a pretty dern built proof transmission. If its a manual there are several ways it could go, if its a 5spd you will either have the AX-15 (best) or the Peugot (worst of the worst)
4.0 uses the Renix fuel injection system (good robust system, not as fancy as newer ones but highly reliable)
The 4wd may seem not to work, but unless something is messed up in the T-case its probably a faulty CAD, which is a SUPER easy fix.
