brake wheel help

My 89 4wd started making a noise from the front driver side wheel. At first i thought it was my engine tapping/ knocking. It doesnt start until I reach about 20mph and stops when I apply the break.

Make sure you haven't lost one of the bolts on the caliper! Loose pads would be the next thing. Bad wheel bearing would be the expensive thing.

it could also be a warped rotor, when you come to a harder stop can you feel the car pulse-ate? if not that then i would look at the caliper or loose wheel bearing
