Battery Sparking

Jeep has been sitting in a barn for 3 months for the winter ran fine prior to storage. Changed the filter/oil ran some carb cleaner on the intake and carb to get the dust off of it. I Let it sit for 10 minutes, primed the carb shut the hood....no start. Popped the hood checked terminals all was good starter sounded good. tried it again every time I turned the key to the start position there was a big @ss spark off the negative terminal motor cranked but no start. I'm assuming its starter/solenoid related, checked fuses, but that's all the further I have gotten. just want opinions. BTW battery is new as well as +/- cables.

Did you try jumping it? Sometimes the battery will spark even when it's bad.

I did not, the battery was at full charge It cranks just fine just no start (not my main priority right now), just seems like its drawing high amperage at first causing the terminal to spark.
