Bare Rear End

Now that I caught your attention, I am looking for a step & tow bumper for my MJ that will look decent. I tried a Fey and I don't like the look. I am considering trying to make a Chevy S-10 or Ford Ranger one fit. They seem to be nice looking and about the same size. Has anybody ever tried a Ranger or S-10 one? Looking at the custom fabrications, none seem to have a spot for the number plate, and the ones that do don't seem worthy of being attached to DaJeep.

Wow, that thing looks like brand new.

Maybe I should try washing mine once, but I figure all the dried mud and dust on it works like SPF 50 sun block to keep the paint from fading even worse.

Good luck, I had a hell of a time finding a rear bumper for mine (it was missing too), I found a Cherokee bumper in a junk yard that fit in place perfectly but wasn;t in perfect shape. I've come to the conclusion after reading here that original Cherokee owner may have put a Comanche bumper on it at some time for some reason.

I still think this looks awesome...

I'd figure out a way to mount the plate if I could find anything that looked this good.

Thank you. I have actually thought of seeing if I could cut down a Cherokee tailgate and that would give me the number plate holder built in. Then I could use a Cherokee rear bumper...........but I think DaJeep deserves a bumper closer to original.
