Awesome Manche's

Even though I just got my first Comanche, I still look what's for sale out there just out of curiosity. Well, I'm sure many of you do the same and have already seen these, but if not, IMHO here are two hot trucks for sale on the west coast.

The first is a 92 that looks like the owner has already put the money and time in to making it a pretty capable off-roader with only a few more mods needed for the serious ones.

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?car_id=233059720&dealer_id=61428333&car_ye ar=1992&model=COMANC&make2=&mod_bookmark_id=849835 6&start_year=1981&keywordsfyc=&engine=&keywordsrep =&certified=&fuel=&search_type=used&distance=0&mak e=JEEP&color=&min_price=&incremental=All&drive=4+w heel+drive&isDWSI=false&default_sort=priceDESC&max _mileage=&style_flag=1&sort_type=priceDESC&address =22980&advanced=y&end_year=2008&doors=&transmissio n=&max_price=&cardist=2197

The second one is an 88 long bed Laredo (like mine, still need to post pics) that was either restored or driven by the same old man for 20 years down to the local diner every morning for a cup of coffee with his cronies and then parked for the day. I mean this truck is CHERRY. Only thing I can see missing is full gauges and pwr windows or locks. It doesn't mention a/c, but I'd be surprised if it didn't have it.

Ironically both trucks have 108k on them and are both listed at $4k. I'm sure there are issues that don't show in the pics, but if any of you die hards out there are looking for either an almost-ready serious wheeler or a cherry daily driver, check 'em out. IMO if either one could be had in the low to mid 3's, assuming the low mileage is correct, they are some decent deals.

yeah, that one's been on there awhile. if i bought it i think i'd pull that sweet velour off the bench and make a bathrobe and take the carpet for a toilet mat.

i thought the same thing. that 3 spd tranny's a winner too. too bad someone couldn't have bought it off the old man before he traded it in. they probably would have gotten it for less than $2k, swapped in a 4-oh and tranny, some bucket seats and be righteous.

i still can't get over how good that 88 laredo looks. gotta get pics of mine posted.
