Anyone looking for complete SWB bed side replacements?

So a few months ago I picked up a short bed out of the JY that was in outstanding shape to use on my project MJ, but decided to save it, and cut up the long bed that was on it. Since then I've been toying around with the idea of making a "matching" trailer out of it, but leaving it full length. I know I would want to do the prerunner bed flares to match the truck, but still don't feel right about cutting it up considering how good of condition it is in. So here is what I am thinking/proposing: Somebody out there is looking for complete SWB bed side replacements, not just generic patch panels. I can go through and cut out all of the spot welds on this like I did on my long bed, removing the bed sides as one whole piece, and I'll even include most of the outer part of the wheel well(not the entire panel since that pinch weld ties the inner and outer wheel well, into the inner bed side), leaving me a clean spot to use the full fiberglass bedside from Hannemann, with out feeling bad about "cutting up" a perfectly good bed.

So for full SWB bed side replacements(I'll even go though and try and remove any dents and dings for the buyer), I would like to try and get enough to cover half the cost of the new fiberglass bed sides.... $500 plus shipping for the fiberglass, say $250?

Here is the truck bed:

Some pics to show just how rust free this thing is:

How I go about removing the bedsides from the bed, drill out all of the spot welds at the front and back of the bed, across the top inside the bed rail, and then cut the inner wheel well, and remove.

You would just have to remove your old bedside(probably in a similar manor) fit the new bedside, and fill in all the weld holes I cut out.

Are you selling the whole red bed with sides or just the silver bed sides?

The tan Pioneer bed is a different project thats been bobbed a couple times, that's not for sale, I was just using it as an example.

The red Eliminator bed is the one I am talking about.
1) I can sell the entire bed if you have a short bed to trade with cash. I'm looking for a bed that is a prime candidate for new bed sides.
2) I can sell just the bed sides removed the same way that I removed the Pioneer sides that are pictured.

If you were just a little bit closer, I'd definitely be interested. I have a rust free short bed on the MJ I just picked up but the sides are dented to hell.

I don't suppose you ever come up to Michigan do ya?

Yeah, don't make it up that way very often. Think I've got a deal in the works with a guy from SC for the bedsides, I'll keep this thread updated if it goes through or not.

If the deal with the guy from SC and Mich. does not work out I would be up for a trade on beds. I have a 89 short bed in red that needs bed sides. I live just south of Fort Wayne.

After getting some news today, I have decided to scrap this project and sell the bed as a whole. I really could use the money to finish my rig before I worry about building a trailer that matches it.

$350 takes everything I have for it: bed, and matching 99.9% rust free tailgate(decals, and latch have been removed in anticipation of paint work, all latch parts will also be included), and L/R tail lights I am restoring:

Before/after

This thing is in amazing shape, minimal surface rust(I've seen a lot of 5 year old cars with more rust), and some minor dings from being handled at the junkyard, all of it a very easy fix.
