i just picked up a 88 4.0 5spd 4x2 there is no power on cps wires previous owner plugged the cps to the ecu plug it will start but it is shaking itself to death it has shaked the bellhousing bolts out of it

First off, there is no power to the CPS. It generates power.


Secondly, it's gonna continue to run like crap until you get the bolts back in to the bell housing. They didn't shake out. Somone left them out.
