87 comanche transfer case

4x4 is not engaging. How much is this going to cost me

Depends on what the problem is.

Most likely the CAD on the front axle.
There is a free fix if that is it.

Might want to go over to comancheclub.com.

Loads of information on these trucks over there.

won't help if the vacuum axle didn't engage because the hoses are ripped off as "emission crap".
