Got a 86 2.1l diesel, 68k original miles. How are they? When looking at value on Nada it stated value reduced 10% for diesel.

I think its a rare thing to find, couldn't have been that many made.
I would say drive it and see how you like it, vbut I imagine parts are going to be scarce for it just because it was very limited production.

So with it being rare how much would a stock one owner go for. No rust, paints faded, runs what I perceive is good. Not to impressive performance wise.

price really depends on location and demand. around here a stock mj usually goes for around 1500-2000 in good running condition, but i also haven't seen a diesel around here and most(including mine) are 2wd.

Where are you located? There's a guy on Comanche Club that loves those things with a diesel.
